The Exodus marks one of the most important events in biblical history, when God delivered the Israelites from 400 years of slavery in Egypt under the leadership of Moses (Exodus 12–14, KJV). After the ten plagues, the Israelites celebrated the first Passover before leaving Egypt. God then miraculously parted the Red Sea, allowing His people to cross on dry ground while the Egyptian army was destroyed. About three months later, the Israelites arrived at Mount Sinai, where God gave Moses the Ten Commandments and established His covenant with Israel. The Exodus began Israel's journey through the wilderness toward the Promised Land, becoming a lasting symbol of God's power, faithfulness, and redemption.
