Jesus performed miracles to reveal that He is the promised Messiah and the Son of God, to demonstrate God's compassion, and to confirm the truth of His message. Through healing the sick, giving sight to the blind, calming storms, casting out demons, raising the dead, and feeding the hungry, Jesus showed His authority over disease, nature, evil, and death. His miracles fulfilled Old Testament prophecies about the coming Messiah (Isaiah 35:5–6) and led many people to believe in Him. As the Gospel of John explains, "these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name" (John 20:31, KJV). Jesus' miracles were not merely displays of power—they revealed His divine identity, His love for people, and His mission to bring salvation to the world.
