The parting of the Red Sea is one of the greatest miracles in the Bible, showing God's power to save His people. After the Israelites left Egypt, they found themselves trapped between the Red Sea and Pharaoh's approaching army. God instructed Moses to stretch out his rod over the sea, and "the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night", making a dry path through the waters (Exodus 14:21–22, KJV). The Israelites crossed safely on dry ground with walls of water on either side, but when the Egyptian army pursued them, God caused the waters to return, destroying Pharaoh's forces (Exodus 14:26–28). This miraculous deliverance became a defining moment in Israel's history, demonstrating God's faithfulness, His power over creation, and His ability to rescue those who trust in Him.
