The feeding of the five thousand is one of Jesus' most well-known miracles, demonstrating His compassion and divine power to provide. When a large crowd gathered to hear Him teach, Jesus took five loaves and two fish offered by a young boy, gave thanks to God, and distributed the food to the people (Matthew 14:13–21; John 6:1–14, KJV). Miraculously, about five thousand men, besides women and children, ate until they were satisfied, and twelve baskets of leftovers were collected afterward. This miracle revealed Jesus as the promised Messiah and pointed to Him as the Bread of Life, who alone can fully satisfy humanity's deepest spiritual needs.
