Jesus turned water into wine at a wedding in Cana of Galilee, performing the first recorded miracle of His public ministry (John 2:1β11, KJV). When the wedding hosts ran out of wine, Jesus instructed the servants to fill six stone waterpots with water. After they obeyed, the water was miraculously transformed into high-quality wine, astonishing the master of the feast. John calls this miracle the "beginning of miracles," through which Jesus manifested His glory, and His disciples believed on Him. More than meeting a practical need, this miracle revealed Christ's divine power, His compassion, and the abundant joy and new life He brings to those who trust in Him.
